We're hiring.

 

Community Manager

We are looking for someone to help improve the Study Hall experience as we grow. This role would effectively serve as the “face” of Study Hall to members and would suggest and implement improvements to improve working environments, attract new members, and spearhead events; all with the goal of building an engaged, helpful, and interesting community of members.

 
 

Responsibilities:

Community

Proactively connecting members with one another

Serving as resource for members

Interacting on Slack & email

Run member surveys and feedback

Working on partnerships with other local artists / makers / farms / etc make the space awesome & add perks to membership!
 

Membership Management

Showing space to prospective members

Handle membership requests, signups, changes

Manage internal membership notes via Highrise
 

Events

Handle correspondence and coordinate external events

Plan and coordinate Study Hall events

Running member-specific events and community events
 

Space

(note: This will eventually be handled by Hall Monitors)

Manage ambiance (music, sound, lights, temp)

Opening and closing tasks

Food & Drink

Coffee, tea, drinks, and snacks

Expand offerings (food trucks, deliveries, catering)

Tidying up, dishes, light cleaning
 

Marketing

Social media updates and interaction

Coordinate advertising and sponsorships

Blog creation and writing
 

Operations

Help us grow our team!

Sourcing and managing temp event staff as needed

Managing outside cleaners and maintenance

Hiring Hall Monitors to handle space coverage and basic tasks
